Spain, Instituto de Consejeros-Administradores, IC-A, is the Board Directors Association of companies or entities based in Spain (Madrid). IC-A is a non-profit association that does not adhere to any specific ideology or religious creed. Membership of the Association is undertaken individually.  IC-A enjoys international and national recognition among board directors and major international institutional investors, in Spain, Europe and the United States, as an independent professional body with expertise in good corporate governance at listed, unlisted and family-run companies, public corporations and non-profit organisations. IC-A represents Spain in ecoDa.  IC-A’s aims are to promote, disseminate and establish the most advanced models of Corporate Governance, the highest standards of professional regulation and the best ethical practices in business management, and to encourage training for directors.
